Pay: $2,129.40/week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts)
Job Summary
The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Float Registered Nurse provides high-quality nursing care for adult and geriatric patients across multiple PCU and stepdown units. The RN must demonstrate advanced clinical skills, adaptability, and proficiency in caring for patients requiring telemetry, hemodynamic monitoring, and complex IV therapies. This role involves floating to units of equivalent or lower acuity based on staffing needs.
Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to adults and geriatric populations in PCU/stepdown units.

Float to units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed.

Manage telemetry, hemodynamic monitoring, medication administration, and complex IV therapies.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including respiratory therapy, radiology, social services, and rapid response teams.

Document all patient interactions accurately using Epic EMR.
Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent PCU/Stepdown experience required.

Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; NIHSS preferred.

Licensure: Active Compact or Ohio RN license at time of submission.

Charting System: Epic EMR experience required.

Vaccinations: Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required.

Education: Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program.
