Cardiac Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Position
Location: Greensboro, NC 
Job Type: Travel Contract   
Duration: 13 weeks  
Shift: 3x12s Days 
Pay: $1959/week  

Job Description:  

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized care for patients with a wide range of cardiac conditions. The Telemetry RN is responsible for continuous cardiac monitoring, interpreting rhythm strips, and managing patients who may be at risk for cardiac complications. The ideal candidate is an expert in cardiac rhythm analysis, possesses strong critical-thinking skills, and is dedicated to delivering precise, high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Perform continuous cardiac monitoring and interpret rhythm strips with accuracy.
  • Administer medications and treatments, including cardiac-specific drugs, as prescribed.
  • Monitor patient vital signs, lab values, and identify changes in cardiac status.
  • Educate patients and their families on their heart condition, medications, and lifestyle changes.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and the interdisciplinary team to ensure a seamless plan of care.
  • Manage a diverse patient population, including those with heart failure, arrhythmias, and post-procedural care.

Qualifications:  

  • Active RN license in North Carolina.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of recent Cardiac Telemetry nursing experience.
  • COVID vaccine and recent TB test may be required.
